Cathy is an incredible trainer. Our rescue dog, Muffin, never had a true home and didn’t get an opportunity to just be a dog and have a happy life. We were nervous that she may be untrainable at first because she was all over the place but Cathy assured us that Muffin is smarter than we think and that she’ll be ok. 10 weeks later with rewarding positive behavior Muffin is now a trained, obedient and loving dog who we have a healthy relationship with. She also trained us, so we can better understand what Muffin is trying to tell us and how we can get her to listen and respond to us. I could not give Cathy enough stars. Thanks Cathy!

I am so glad that I picked Family Dog Training. Cathy was absolutely awesome! I felt so comfortable sending my 15 month old Morkie, Ozzy with Cathy for 3 weeks. He was very aggressive and biting all the time, barking constantly at everything. Ozzy never would listen and he knew only one command which was sit. He would constantly pull on his leash when walking and acted like a crazy dog when a car or truck would drive by. Upon his return 3 weeks later, he was a totally behaved dog. When walking Ozzy he stays right next to me, doesn’t bark at vehicles and everyone walking near us. He listens, knows sit, come, down and leave it. The biting and aggressive behavior has definitely been redirected! It is so wonderful having a well behaved dog. It was definitely worth the money!
When Cathy made a home visit the day after he returned Ozzy was so excited to see her which just confirmed how much he missed her ❤️! I can’t say enough about how grateful we are to have picked Family Dog Training!
